Originally conceived under Sher & Seo, now evolved into Kind Rebel, this inaugural collection draws from Donna Sherwani’s early years as a refugee. It is inspired by the days she spent fetching water from wells and streams before crossing the Indian Ocean to arrive in Australia.

The bucket silhouette honours that ritual of survival.

Sher & Seo means “calm lion” in Kurdish and Korean. The Audacious Jian bucket bag is named after her daughter, Jian, meaning “life”, and nods to Jin, Jiyan, Azadî. It reflects hers and her daughter’s collective heritage and a lineage shaped by resilience, rebellion and radical kindness.

Each piece carries kindness and quiet rebellion.
